"Go ahead, sue me" He just babbled it out.
"Yea! You are alive!" Whenever he sees someone when he is in a good mood.
"I've never done that!" what ever he wanted to do even though he might have done it millions of times.
"You've got to be my best friend, i will give you some candy!"
So we had a parent teacher conference day for both kiddies. This is the last semester for Lexi so hers is a lot more brief.
For brandan, the teachers said he is doing very well at school, no longer shy around the teachers and the friends. He plays with Kyle a lot and no way to get anything down with either of them unless they are seperated. He is very smart and very willing to participate and stay focused on things, but it's hard to get him to try the more challenging things on his own. He is also very good at following school/classroom rules. Has rough plays but never violent. Doing good learning pheonetics and numbers so we can do more of those with him at home. He now plays with more than just Kyle, maybe with Brandan only in school 3 days a week, Kyle had to make new friends and that also forced Brandan to make some new friends. The teachers noticed his fascinations with guns, so we have to work together to discourage gun-playing. He doesn't pee in public at school and eat well, but not too keen to certain snacks. But he is pretty on track for his age. Not a class clown like his dad, but definitely goofy.
For Lexi, she is completely opposite from how she is at home. At school, based on the teachers, she is very shy, she likes to watch things on the side line, she does participate but never want to do anything when put on the spot light. She loves to read at the book corner on the couch, play along side with friends but never really playing together. She doesn't speak much, when she does speak, she speaks so softly, the teachers had to put their ears next to her mouth to hear her. She is very non-confrontational, and very much kept to herself, not so independant and always ask and wait for the teacher's help. All those behaviors are never seen at home, except her love for books. Double life living little girl!
